Meet The Owner
The owner of Willys-Overland Motors, Jared Cohen, has a lifelong interest in vintage Jeeps. It all started at age 9 when he learned how to drive on his dad’s 1945 MB, which his dad bought in high school over 45 years ago. Ever since then, Jared has been hooked. He spent dozens of weekends exploring trails throughout the northeast in the next Jeep his dad put together from the leftover parts from the MB restoration. This conglomeration of MB, CJ2A, and CJ3A parts, known as the White Jeep, has been trail-ridden intensely all over the northeast. From there, Jared knew his first vehicle had to be a vintage Jeep. He and his dad restored a 1948 Willys Pickup as his first car. Since then, Jared has restored a 1967 CJ5, a 1970 CJ5, and a 1957 CJ3B. He and his dad are actively working on the next project, a 1957 FC-170. Needless to say, vintage Jeeps run through Jared’s blood, and he has been lucky enough to turn his passion into a business helping others complete their own restorations. His knowledge and lifelong background have not only allowed him to offer the best products suppliers have to offer to our customers, but many of which he has personally tested on his own Jeep. In fact, 4 of his Jeeps have our Repli-Tub on them! Jared loves to talk Jeep with customers, and the best part is when you call us, you get him! You’ll never get an answering service or someone clicking away on a computer that has never seen a Jeep. Give Jared a call today!
